We endeavour to do our part to minimise the impact we have on our planet and we believe Sustainability is key.
It’s crucial to recognise that businesses have the largest impact on our environment and even as a small business, we’ve endeavoured to make sure we source sustainable products and packaging from local suppliers.

Our Suppliers
We understand that the larger organisations that we buy from aren’t as environmentally conscious as we are.
Some of the products we stock are not recyclable in kerbside programs ran by Australian councils. However, search the packaging for the RedCycle logo and packaging marked with this logo are able to be returned to the RedCycle bins at your local supermarket for specialised recycling.
We have also made an effort to ensure that our suppliers are based in Australia and New Zealand.
Our packaging suppliers are all based in Australia, with a majority of them manufacturing their products in the country as well.
The Red Balloon Candy Artisans are based in Melbourne, Victoria and use at least 85% Australian Ingredients.
Shipping
We currently only utilise Australia Post because we believe they are taking moderate actions to offset their environmental impact, by making efforts to ensure their parcel delivery is Carbon Neutral.

Composting
We recommend setting up a home compost bin, it’s great for food waste and doesn’t have to take up heaps of space either! Here’s just a couple of options.
The link above covers options from your standard composting options; to your compact apartment sized options. Perfect for any size location.
Other Possibilities
Diet is a major part of personal climate impact. You don’t need to transition into a fully vegan diet to make an impact on the planet. Cutting down on and/or substituting meats occasionally can also play a part.
Our friends over at Vegipe have a small but growing list of recipes that allow you to increase your vegetable intake. We recommend checking them out!
